Transportation Worker Identification Credential
What is TWIC?

TWIC is a common identification credential for all personnel requiring unescorted access to secure areas of Maritime Transportation Security Adminstration (MTSA)-regulated facilities and vessels, and all mariners holding Coast Guard-issued credentials. TSA will issue workers a tamper-resistant "smart card" containing the worker's biometric (fingerprint template) to allow for a positive link between the card itself and the individual.

When and where will I be able to enroll? To schedule an appointment and save time during enrollment, you can still pre-enroll online at http://twicinformation.tsa.dhs.gov or call 866-347-8942.

REIMBURSEMENT INFORMATION:

Local 378 is reimbursing our members. Members must come in with the actual TWIC card and receipt, and one of the Clerks will take a copy. The member will be added to a list and will recieve a call when the reimbursement Debit Card is ready for the member to sign and pick up the card.

Please note, the hall will NOT mail the reimbursements and we will not accept any copies of the card or receipt that are mailed. (This is a Security Card and you should not be making photocopies of the card). The Union Hall is authorized to take a copy for reimbursement purposes only.
